About Us

Founded in 1980 as a small rewinding shop in Zonguldak, Ova Enerji today serves heavy industry from its 2,250 m² workshop in Dilovası OIZ.

The company was founded in Zonguldak in 1980 by Rahmi Öztürk. A small rewinding shop serving local customers in its early years, it grew over time into a service provider for power plants across Turkey.

After the 2002 crisis, to serve the private sector alongside public institutions and to diversify our customer base, we moved in 2004 to our 2,250 m² workshop in Dilovası Organised Industrial Zone and specialised in rewinding, maintenance, repair and testing of electric motors.

What we do

For heavy-industry plants such as cement, steel, power plants and mining sites:

• Rewinding, maintenance, repair and spare coil manufacture for AC and DC motors, low-voltage (0–1000 V) and medium-voltage (3,000–6,000–10,000 V)
• Complete rewinding, repair and maintenance of dry-type transformers and reactors
• Electromagnet rewinding and repair
• Rotor and stator core manufacture; manufacture of commutators, slip rings and brush holders

We have also specialised in the maintenance and repair of submersible pumps used in wastewater treatment plants and lift stations, whose numbers have grown in recent years. We began investing in servo motors in 2014; that work continues today under our group company Ova Servo.

Taking account of our customers' changing needs over the years, we make it our principle to invest in our team and technical infrastructure, and to meet the expectation of quality materials, careful workmanship, fair prices and on-time delivery.
