Founded in Zonguldak in 1980 and operating from its 2,250 m² workshop in Dilovası OSB since 2004, Ova Enerji provides electric motor rewinding, maintenance and repair for motors, generators and pumps operating in heavy-industry plants.

Industries We Serve with Electric Motor Rewinding, Maintenance and Repair

Iron and steel

Alongside AC and DC motors operating in rolling mills and melt shops, we carry out coil rewinding, maintenance and leak testing of concast and Ergolines electromagnetic stirrers used in continuous casting. Details: motor maintenance and repair for iron and steel plants.

Cement

We rewind, maintain and repair low- and medium-voltage induction motors operating under dust, heat and heavy-starting conditions in cement plants. Details: cement plant motor rewinding.

Power and hydro

Over the years we have grown from a rewinding workshop in Zonguldak into a company serving power plants across the country. Alongside the induction and synchronous motors used in power plants, we renew the stator and rotor windings of hydropower plant generators. Details: hydro generator rewinding and power plant motors.

Water and wastewater

We undertake the rewinding, maintenance and repair, spare parts supply and periodic maintenance of wet- and dry-installed submersible pumps used in wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations. Details: wastewater submersible pump maintenance and repair.

Rail

We rewind, maintain and repair DC traction motors used in rail vehicles, and provide technical support for motors used in rail and conveyor belt systems. Details: traction motor rewinding.

Beyond these five fields, motors operating in other heavy-industry plants such as mining sites are also within our scope of service.

Different Industries, the Same Approach

A cement mill motor and a traction motor operate under very different conditions, but the fundamental steps of a reliable repair do not change. Whatever industry it comes from, every piece of equipment arriving at our workshop is handled with the same discipline:

• Photographed initial inspection: The motor's general condition, accessories and fault are photographed and recorded before dismantling, and missing and damaged parts are reported to you.
• Diagnosis by measurement: Winding resistance, insulation resistance to earth, hi-pot and surge tests and a lamination stack core loss test are carried out.
• Approval-based workflow: Additional repairs identified during inspection are priced separately and are not carried out without your approval.
• Reported delivery: Insulation tests are carried out to TS EN 60034-15 and rotor balancing to ISO 1940/1; the results are delivered with a report.

We also manufacture rotor and stator lamination stacks, commutators, slip rings and brush holders in our workshop. From our workshop in Dilovası, Kocaeli, we serve plants throughout Türkiye.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you serve only the listed industries?

No. The listed industries are the fields we work in most often. AC and DC motors, generators and submersible pumps operating at mining sites and similar heavy-industry plants are also within our scope of service.

Do you serve plants in other provinces of Türkiye?

Yes. Our workshop is in Dilovası OSB, and we service motors from plants throughout Türkiye. We also offer on-site balancing for machine parts within a certain size range.

How are repair time and cost determined?

Time and cost depend on the motor's type, power, voltage level and the extent of the damage. They are stated in the quotation after the initial inspection and measurements.

Are repaired motors covered by a warranty?

On AC squirrel-cage induction motors, the stator rewind is guaranteed for 1 year against material and workmanship defects, and problems arising from parts worked on during maintenance are guaranteed for 6 months. Warranty terms for other equipment are stated in the quotation.
